I'm planning on trying this recipe soon. Isn't the end result pretty? 2) Apple Coasters These are adorable, and are on my list of things to make for this summer! :D 3) Green Tea Limeade It's starting to warm up here in Tennessee, which means that the quest for a tasty cold drink has begun. I believe this has made the list of contenders! 4) Mojito Madness Nail Polish by Essie Pretty and springy, I'm in love with this color! 5) Market Totes The season for Farmer's Markets is beginning, and I'm planning on whipping up a few of these for fresh produce! Hope your St. Patrick's Day has been wonderful!
See y'all back here tomorrow. ;) Love, Olivia I tested the Krusteaz Gluten Free Blueberry Muffin Mix a couple days ago . . . and while I'm getting the review ready to share later this week, I thought I'd share some pictures of them with y'all!! :D See y'all back here tomorrow!!
Love, Olivia Happy Sunday y'all!! Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. ~ Psalm 86:11 If you want to read the lyrics apart from the video . . . you can find those here.

Love, Olivia Now, I've never been a big fan of math. In fact, if you type Pi in my Google Search Bar . . . it suggests Pinterest. But, even I can appreciate the coolness of tomorrow's date: 3/14/15 which coordinates with the first five digits of . . . pi. I swear I'm telling the truth. See: So, check back here tomorrow. Because in honor of Pi Day we'll be talking about all kinds of . . . PIE! It's just how I roll.
Have y'all been to Big Lots lately? We went the other day, and discovered that they have ALL kinds of awesome Gluten Free Items. Including my new favorite Gluten Free Pretzels from Snyder's of Hanover. And Krusteaz mixes! Where have y'all unexpectedly found Gluten Free Products recently? Let me know in the comments!
Have a Terrific Thursday! Love, Olivia Today, two brands are going to battle!! Who will be crowned the winner? Stay tuned to find out . . . Today we're matching up two of the Gluten Free Chicken Strip brands to determine which will come out a winner! ; ) In the left corner we have . . . Perdue Simply Smart Gluten Free Breaded Chicken Breast Tenders, and . . . In the right corner we have . . . Tyson Gluten Free Breaded Chicken Strips! The two opponents will be judged in three categories: Portion, Flavor and Texture. They'll be scored separately on a scale of 1 to 5 (5 being the best, 1 being the worst), then they'll be scored comparatively for judging purposes. We'll begin with the Tyson Chicken Strips . . . Portion: Disappointing. We paid around $6 for the bag, and we received six chicken strips, and a chicken "nubbin", because there is no way this thing could be dubbed a "strip". Only two of the strips were average sized; the rest were itty bitty midget strips. Out of 5 points, these receive a 2 for portion, because the bag COULD have been empty, and that would've been the worst. Right? Flavor: Not bad. They were kind of peppery, which was tasty. Other than that, there wasn't much flavor. I kind of wish they'd been a bit spicier. 3/5 points for flavor. Texture: Unimpressive. Even after following the directions, they still didn't crisp up. In fact, the breading had a slightly mushy quality to it with no real crispyness. 2/5 for flavor. Onto the Perdue Chicken Tenders!! Portion: 15 chicken strips for about the same price. I think this is great, because I'm all for companies that give you more for your money! :) Also, almost all of them were average or reasonable-sized chicken strips, so that's a win. 5/5 Points for portion. Flavor: These are really tasty; there's nothing bland about them. They're very simply flavorful! Points for the flavor . . . 4/5, as I think they could have used a bit more spice to help the chicken flavor stand out. Texture: Perfect. They're crispy and crunchy without being dry. No mushiness. Just crispy chicken strips. 5/5 for Texture. Now . . . onto the overall results! I created this nifty little table to show the scores in each category and to judge them comparatively! So, go ahead and check it out: The Great Chicken Strip Challenge Judging Table!
As you can see, the Perdue Gluten Free Chicken Tenders had far better scores . . . making them today's standout winner!! :D
Have y'all tried either of these products? Which ones are your favorite? Please tell me in the comments below!! Hope you've had a Wonderful Wednesday!!! Love, Olivia Today, in a slight variation of the regular Terrific Things Tuesday . . . every single product/ company listed today has a give back element! :D 1) Sseko Designs Their classic ribbon sandals can be styled a bunch of different ways, and once you have a base . . . the straps can be switched out, and best of all . . . they're made by women in Uganda to help raise money for College Education. Aren't these cute? Also, they make bags, scarves and wallets. My favorite bag is this one. It's just so bright and happy. :) 2) Punjammies These super cute pajama bottoms and tops made by women in India who wish to remain free from sex slavery. My favorites are the Veera pants below. 3) Sevenly This company hosts a new campaign every week for a different cause. And $7 out of every item purchased is donated toward that charity. This week's featured charity is Freedom Firm, and I love this shirt: 4) TOMS Bags Almost everyone knows about TOMS, but what you may not know is that they've added a line of bags that with every purchase gives health care to provide a safe birth for a mother and child in need. My favorite bag in the line is this one. 5) Bravelets Fun jewelry with different causes. Basically, once at the Bravelet site, you can pick a cause, and a portion of the profits go towards that cause . . . for example, Celiac Disease. If you buy the bracelet pictured below, they'll donate $10 to the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness! Do any of y'all have a favorite company that gives back? Tell me about it in the comments below!
