Okay y'all, it's the last day of 2014, and tomorrow begins a new year! I could attempt to leave this year with some great words of thankfulness and wisdom gleaned from 2014, but I thought it might bore you. So, I leave you with this instead: Have a Happy New Year, and remember, tomorrow is the first page of a blank book. How this year fills it is entirely up to you! Hoping your 2015 is filled with great memories and lots of things to be thankful for!

1) Molcajetes! I received one for Christmas, and I LOVE it!! Y'all can find one similar to mine here, but it is just a bit different. You can see mine here: 2) The Vera Bradley Winter Sale! Pretty Colored Bags on SALE! What more could you want!? Nothing I tell you, nothing! Find the sale here! I bought this bag the other day for all my crochet stuff, and I LOVE it! So, if you wanna be like me . . . buy the Get Carried Away Tote in Va Va Bloom! ;) Isn't it pretty!? 3) Granny Squares! I've recently discovered the awesomeness of the Granny Square, and let me tell you . . . they are SUPER fun!! But, I had NO clue you could use them in SO many ways. Like this. They're now on my list of things to make in the new year! 4) Gilmore Girls Memorabilia! Check out this list! I need this shirt in my life. Look how cute!! 5) Prettily Painted Quotes: I love this, and plan to create something similar to it soon! :D That's all the Terrific Things for this Tuesday!
Let me know what terrific things you've discovered this week in the comments below! Have an awesome day! Love, Olivia I don't know what y'all's usual Christmas Breakfast is, but traditionally we eat cinnamon rolls on Christmas Morning. Now, I realize I could have made my own cinnamon rolls, but I just didn't have the time. So . . . we got the Udi's kind, and added some cream cheese frosting in addition to the provided cinnamon frosting! :D The packaging looks like the photo above, just in case you haven't seen these at a grocery store in your area. Flavor: Fantastic! It has a very cinnamony flavor with a really nice, balanced sweetness. I'd give it ten out of ten stars. Texture: Really great. A bit on the dry side for my liking, but nothing that a larger spoonful of the frosting couldn't fix. I'd give these cinnamon rolls seven out of ten stars for texture! Overall: These were a great substitute for the glutinous cinnamon rolls we enjoyed prior to eating Gluten Free. I would totally recommend them, and think y'all might as well!! Eight stars out of ten stars overall because of the wee bit of dryness! As usual, ALL opinions expressed within this post are mine and mine alone. Udi's has NO idea who I am.
I hope y'all have a Marvelous Monday! Love, Olivia Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground. Psalm 143:10 Hope you've had a happy Sunday!!
Love, Olivia I hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas, and enjoyed your time celebrating with family and friends! Did y'all get any awesome gifts? My VERY favorite gift would HAVE to be my molcajete! It took about an hour and a half to season it the traditional way, which was an interesting experience, and then . . . I made guacamole! :D See . . . I also got a new tortilla press! This one is cast iron, unlike my other one, and is set up to make thinner tortillas! Yay!! And, just so you don't think all my presents were food related, I also got this crochet kit, and am excited to try my hand at some crocheted woodland creatures!! :D Anyways, I hope y'all had an awesome Christmas!!
Tell me what your favorite gift was in the comments! Have an awesome day! Love, Olivia And in honor of that, I thought I'd share another Christmas Carol on the blog today! :D I hope y'all enjoy it!!
Let me know what you thought of it in the comments below! Love, Olivia I tried out this recipe that I found on Pinterest! It's two ingredient cheese dip y'all! AND . . . it's really yummy. How awesome is that!? I went to Earthbound Trading Company in Chattanooga on Thursday, and tried on goofy masks . . . see below photo. ;) Tried Canyon Bakehouse Bread! (Review coming soon!) AND . . . We toured the Mayfield Dairy in Athens, TN! Which is quite interesting, and gets you a free ice cream! Pair all that with a few days of working at the mall, and you have my week!
What did y'all do last week? Let me know in the comments below! Happy Monday! Love, Olivia Happy Sunday y'all! When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” Luke 2:15 The first Noel, the angels did say Was to certain poor shepherds In fields as they lay In fields where they Lay keeping their sheep On a cold winter's night That was so deep Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel Born is the King of Israel They looked up And saw a star Shining in the the East Beyond them far And to the earth it It gave great light And so it continued Both day and night Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Born is the King of Israel. Have an awesome day y'all!!
