While I was there I happened to stumble upon these:
Have a Tremendous Thursday y'all!!
Love,
Olivia
I don't usually shop at Ingles . . . mostly because I tend to find better deals on Gluten Free Items at other stores, but last night after Bible Study we had a quick errand to run, and stopped into Ingles to pick up the couple things on our list. While I was there I happened to stumble upon these: If y'all know anything about Ingles, you know that Laura Lynn is their store brand, which usually makes things a bit cheaper. For example, these were $2.99 for 10! Which isn't bad. They smell like fresh waffle comes when their cooking, which is kind of fun. I think their tasty, and may do a review later this week. But, I just wanted y'all to know these were available, because it was news to me. :)
Have a Tremendous Thursday y'all!! Love, Olivia

Have y'all been to Big Lots lately? We went the other day, and discovered that they have ALL kinds of awesome Gluten Free Items. Including my new favorite Gluten Free Pretzels from Snyder's of Hanover. And Krusteaz mixes! Where have y'all unexpectedly found Gluten Free Products recently? Let me know in the comments!
Have a Terrific Thursday! Love, Olivia I posted the other day about the Mi Del pie crusts I found at Kroger, and finally got around to using the Chocolate Snap pie crust the other day for a Chocolate Pudding Pie, and thought I'd show y'all how it turned out: Hope you have a Fabulous Friday!
Love, Olivia While browsing through Target yesterday (cause what's a day without Target, right?) I stumbled upon these adorably cute Mini Freschetta Gluten Free Pizzas! These would be perfect if you needed to bring a Gluten Free option at a Pizza Party, or a lunch, even just dinner for one. Regardless of the way you use them, these are adorable. If you want more information about Freschetta Gluten Free Pizza, than check out their website here. Happy Mini Pizza Eating Y'all!
Have an awesome day! Love, Olivia There are some awesome Gluten Free products on sale this week at Kroger. I found Mi-Del Gluten Free Pie Crusts for $1. You can find them on Amazon for $7 or more, which isn't cheap . . . so, you get around $6 in savings at Kroger! :D As if those weren't enough to fulfill all your pie-making needs, the Bob's Red Mill Pie Crust mix is also on sale for $1. So, there ya' go -- all kinds of great foundations for pies and quiches! Check out the Pinterest board in the side bar for some yummy filling ideas!! ;) Hope y'all have an awesome rest of your weekend!
Love, Olivia Okay y'all, Girl Scout Cookie Season is upon us, and I felt the need to inform you that you CAN participate in Girl Scout Cookie mania. I say this with full confidence because the Girl Scouts have released yet ANOTHER Gluten Free Cookie flavor! You see, they introduced Trios a couple of years ago in select markets. These cookies are comprised of "Chocolate chips nestled in a gluten free peanut butter oatmeal cookie." Additionally, this year they've added another Gluten Free cookie option within select markets called the Toffee-tastic. These cookies are described as being, "Rich, buttery cookies packed with golden toffee bits bursting with flavor."
Okie dokie, I figured we might as well stay on the theme I've created this week with breakfast food reviews! Up for review today is . . . Safari Cocoa Crunch from Mom's Best Cereal! Flavor: Great! They're quite tasty, and have awesome chocolatey flavor, with no funky aftertaste! Now, just as a warning . . . they don't taste like cocoa puffs, but they are DELICIOUS! 10/10 stars for flavor. Texture:
Awesome. No weird gritty texture, or anything else strange. In fact, the texture is actually quite smooth for a corn cereal. 10/10 stars for texture. Price: Not bad at all. We buy it at Kroger for around $2.50 a box, and have found it 10 for $10 there as well. You can also find it on Amazon for $4.99 a box. 10/10 stars for price. Overall: This cereal gets 10/10. Great taste, great texture, and great price! What more could you want in a cereal!? That's all for today y'all! Let me know if you've tried this cereal, and what you think of it in the comments below! Have a great day y'all! Love, Olivia I don't know what y'all's usual Christmas Breakfast is, but traditionally we eat cinnamon rolls on Christmas Morning. Now, I realize I could have made my own cinnamon rolls, but I just didn't have the time. So . . . we got the Udi's kind, and added some cream cheese frosting in addition to the provided cinnamon frosting! :D The packaging looks like the photo above, just in case you haven't seen these at a grocery store in your area. Flavor: Fantastic! It has a very cinnamony flavor with a really nice, balanced sweetness. I'd give it ten out of ten stars. Texture: Really great. A bit on the dry side for my liking, but nothing that a larger spoonful of the frosting couldn't fix. I'd give these cinnamon rolls seven out of ten stars for texture! Overall: These were a great substitute for the glutinous cinnamon rolls we enjoyed prior to eating Gluten Free. I would totally recommend them, and think y'all might as well!! Eight stars out of ten stars overall because of the wee bit of dryness! As usual, ALL opinions expressed within this post are mine and mine alone. Udi's has NO idea who I am.
I hope y'all have a Marvelous Monday! Love, Olivia Taste:
They're quite yummy, kind of like I remember Eggo waffles tasting. They're awesome for toaster waffles, but you must remember, they're still toaster waffles. Overall for flavor, I'd rate them eight out of ten stars. Texture: Really nice. They're far more waffle-like than other Gluten Free waffles I've tried. They do get tough if microwaved to reheat, but other than that, they're great! I'd say they deserve a seven out of ten stars. Quantity: Eight! Shocking, right? Ten of ten stars!! Overall: Awesome product!! Y'all should totally try them! Have an awesome day! Love, Olivia Okay y'all, today I'm going to review Trader Joe's Gluten Free Cranberry Maple Nut Granola. Here's what it looks like in the package: You get 12 ounces for around $3 which is great compared to some other Gluten Free Granola Brands. A serving is 1/3 of a cup which looks like the picture above.
Taste: The taste was really, really great! I loved the hint of maple flavor, and I also love the craisins within the mix. Out of 10 stars, I'd give this granola mix a solid eight, and that's only because there's a wee bit of a strange aftertaste. Texture: Fantastic. Nice crunch. Not in an OHMYGAWSH was that my tooth kind of way, but in a nice crunchy way. Real descriptive, I know. ;) I'd give it 10/10 stars for texture. It's got a perfect crunch ratio. Lol. Thoughts: It's great! Perfect crunch, yummy taste . . . great dry or with milk. Perfect for breakfast or as a snack. It's not a messy food to eat, which would make it great for on the go breakfasts! Overall, I'd give it 9/10 stars but only because of the funky aftertaste. Have an awesome day y'all! Love, Olivia |
