Earlier this month we talked about the Modern Oats giveaway I won on the I'm a Celiac blog! (Find that post here) But, today we'll be talking about one of the other things you can do with your cup of Modern Oats! Make Cookies!! Here's what you'll need:
Blend all the ingredients together, it'll look like this: Then, use a 1/8 measuring cup to scoop the dough onto a cookie sheet. I ended up with four cookies. See: Bake for 20 minutes, then remove from from oven, Transfer from cookie sheet to a wire rack, and allow to cool!! Enjoy!! Have a great day y'all!!

Okay y'all. Today was kinda hectic, so let's checkout what kept me so busy. :D Created some yummy infused water. (Grapefruit, Cilantro, and Lime Juice. Just trust me, it's yummy.) Got ready for a job interview. Which means I pulled out my Texas girl rollers and made my hair pretty. :D By the way y'all, my hair is SO flipping thick I used SIXTEEN rollers. SIXTEEN! See: Here's the final result of all that madness: Anyways, after my interview I went to Williams - Sonoma and learned about their Gluten Free Products with an awesome employee of theirs (Thanks Lucy!) I also bought this while I was there. Don't worry . . . I'll review it here! ;) I'm SUPER excited to try it!! I also ran some errands, but who cares about that? Anyways, I hope y'all had a GREAT DAY!!

Have a great day! Love, Olivia Alrighty y'all, I went to Sam's Club today and found a new Gluten Free Product from Krusteaz (which I searched for and couldn't find on their website), and I thought I'd share it with y'all!! It's Krusteaz Gluten Free All Purpose Flour!! We paid $9.98 for five pounds of it at Sam's today, and I'm SUPER excited to try it out!! Here are a couple of cool factoids about it:
I'm SO excited to try this over the next few days and will DEFINITELY be letting y'all know EXACTLY what I think of it!
I hope y'all have a fantastic rest of your day! Love, Olivia Okay y'all, I won a giveaway on the I'm A Celiac Blog, and got a variety pack of Modern Oats!! I'm going to tell y'all over the next few weeks what I think of them as I try them all, but today we'll talk about the Mango Blackberry Flavor. Texture: Great! So many quick or instant oatmeals are mushy and gross texturally. Modern Oats actually has the texture of oats. :O This flavor has Pepitas in it which I really liked. Out of five stars, I'd give the texture of Modern Oats a five. Taste: Delicious. I like that it actually tastes like the fruit that's in it. It's just super yummy, and that's really all I can say about it. :D Out of five stars, I'd give the flavor of Modern Oats a five. Ease of Use: Super simple. If you can boil water, you can make Modern Oats. Seriously though. All you do is add the water, put the lid on, and wait three minutes . . . Voila! Oatmeal! Overall:
I thought it was delicious, it was easy to make, and I would TOTALLY recommend it! For more information on Modern Oats, check my upcoming blog posts! Which flavor sounds best to you!? Let me know in the comments below!! :D Hope y'all found this helpful, and that you have a GREAT day!! Love, Olivia Okie dokie, y'all! Because there wasn't a "Terrific Things Tuesday" this week, I figured we could do something similar for Friday. This won't happen every week, just occasionally--assuming I have something planned for Tuesday besides Terrific Things Tuesday. ;) Let's get to it . . . 1) Frozen Yes, the Disney Movie . . . I've told y'all I might as well be six years old! Besides being an adorable movie though, it also accurately describes the way I've felt with our recently chilly temperatures. Also, this version of "Let It Go" is my favorite, in case y'all were wondering: 2) Fuzzy Socks Though it's not exactly fun dealing with chilly temperatures, I am totally loving slipper socks. They have some cute ones here that can be warmed in the microwave to keep your feet toasty! :O See: 3) Fireplaces We've had a fire roaring all day long. It keeps the house far warmer. Yippee!! 4) Festive Beverages Hot Cocoa and Candy Cane Tea Galore! I'm planning on having some of this in a moment! 5) Fabulous Quotes I've been loving this one recently. That's all we've got for our Fabulous Friday!
Hope you have a fantastic day! Love, Olivia Okie dokie y'all, it's FREEZING here, and I figured it'd be a good day to catch up on some fun lunches I've made over the past couple weeks that are pretty and better for warmer days without being hot and soupy. 1) Salad and a Turkey and Swiss Roll Up Just a basic salad with dressed up carrot ribbons alongside a spinach tortilla filled with turkey and swiss. 2) Turkey Tostadas Ground turkey with black beans, rice, corn, baby kale, and cheddar cheese. 3) Homemade Tortillas and Eggs with Pineapple Salsa This one is fairly self explanatory. 4) Corn Dogs
These may be the simplest thing on here. Microwave for 40 seconds, put on a plate with dipping sauces, and serve! Okay y'all, as I write this, the cookbook I have been working on is . . . FINISHED. Yep, you read that right. FINISHED!! Now it's off to be edited . . . and then it'll be available for you to purchase in the Kindle store! EEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Insert excited face here: I am SO, SO excited, y'all!
Stay tuned this week! I have some SUPER fun things planned for y'all in relation to the release of my cookbook! I have worked really, REALLY hard on this book for y'all, and I sure hope you love it as much as I do! Check back here tomorrow for a new post, and don't forget about the giveaway I'm running for Foster Farms Gluten Free Corn Dogs!! Enter now and win! Have an awesome day, y'all!! Love, Olivia Okay y'all! I was sent a Send Me Gluten Free Box as a thank you for reviewing last month's Send Me Gluten Free Box, and decided I might as well review this one for y'all, too! ;) You'll notice I have a guest in my video this time! You can find her blog here. You can find my post on the muffins here! Also, I misspoke in relation to the other Breeze Bar flavor. It was Chocolate CRANBERRY not Chocolate CHERRY. OOPS!
Now, in addition to the yummy samples, I also found some coupons in my box--including:
All the products mentioned in the video can be found on the following sites:
Also, I have now tried the Nuun drink. It was fair, but it just wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped it would be. It creates more of a flavored water taste than a true sports drink, but it was still tasty. I love Send Me Gluten Free, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to try new products the past two months! You can subscribe here for $30 a month, but the price does decrease if you purchase additional months in advance. ;) I hope y'all enjoyed this review, and don't forget to enter my Foster Farms Gluten Free Giveaway!! ;D Have a Terrific Tuesday Y'all!
